WHAT TO EXPECT

Since each church has a unique style and congregation, visiting a new church can be intimidating. To help you better prepare for your visit, we have compiled a brief overview of what you can expect when visiting Northbridge.

              Worship

Music is an important part of Christian worship (Ps 150; Eph 5:19). At Northbridge, you can expect a variety of theologically robust songs, from both traditional and contemporary artists. We are blessed with a team of worship leaders who guide the congregation with humble, reverent attitudes, and an assortment of musical instruments.

             Preaching

There is no greater calling than to teach and preach from the Word of God (Eph 4:11-12; 2 Tim 4:2) At Northbrige, we teach directly from the Bible, and use an expository and Christ-centered teaching method. We encourage attenders to bring their Bible (physical or electronic!), and to follow along as we delve into the Truths in scripture. You can listen to previous sermons here.

              Missions

We are called to go into the world, share the gospel of Christ, and the make disciples of all nations (Matt 28:19-20; Acts 1:8). Consequently, missions and outreach are a priority at Northbridge, both domestically and internationally. We have several ministry partners who we financially and prayerfully support, as well as several ministries that we regularly interact with and serve alongside.

            Community

The Bible gives numerous accounts of Christians living in community with one another (Acts 2:42; Heb. 10:24-25). Following this example, Northbridge highly values and encourages community both within and outside of the church.  Just a few of the ways we pursue this community includes offering a diverse variety of small groups during the week, hosting a range of community outreach events, serving together with Christ-minded organizations, and regularly sharing meals together.
